Dancing inside the temple this year may be a new experience

This is a shot of the eastern section of Sri Kapali Temple this evening, at about 8 p.m. Taken as we surveyed the precincts and made more notes and checked out the arrangements.

The first dance of the Fest has to be staged next to the Saneeswarar sannidhi and in the open since the temple needs the Navaratri Mantap for religious functions.

The stage will be simple but the sight for the dancers will be special. The temple section will make it so, we guess.

And we are mulling over the idea of having all the dance recitals, of groups at this venue. The space is so vast and the location better.
