Discover Mylapore; Go South

We are hosting the 'Discover Mylapore' event on Jan 18 so that we can facilitate more on Jan 25!
And take the pressure off us!

We have completed the circuit plan no.1.

My tip - go south.
It is an open tip!

Yes, the time limit has been drawn to just 2 hours but you will have to crack lesser clues than last year so you don't have to sacrifice your life on our roads please.

I don't like to write Obits; but they are important to our local newspapers.

If you want to leave a tip on this event - maybe want to tell us how to run it best - leave behind a comment please . .

Since the aim is to explore Mylapore and speed is not a criteria the closing time can be 2 O'clock afternoon like last year. Participants can take a break and also enjoy discussing the clues with the senior citizens in the family at lunch, who cannot take part in this on-the-road event.

Thanks for your suggestion Akila.
This year, we want the Tour to be different.
Btw, the clues should be discussed by the team this time as they hit the road.

The treasure hunt was really exciting and interesting. One could understand more about our own Mylapore. Well spent Sunday morning!

It was a good suggestion to reduce the duaration of the event to 2 hours, which prevented the participants from roaming under the scorching sun and busy traffic. (helped in fuel conservation too)

We got little confused when leaving from the Raga Research Institute to the Kuchipudi Art Academy, as the clue was little mis-leading. But our team was able to crack all the 17 locations. Probably 2 of them may not be as precise as expected.

Congratulations to the organizers and thanks to the sponsors for conducting an impressive event!

it turned out to be an amazing morning as the mylapore festival started of with the treasure hunt this sunday...
it was truly a great experience for us... tryng to crack the clues before anyone did...
being a team of school students we were really pumped up and put our heads to each and every word in the clue sheet..
i have been to all the previous year treasure hunts....however i thought in some way this year's was better organised and planned...
the time limit was a good thing added this year...as it was truly a self local knowledge testing event...
i had a great time....at 1 point during the hunt, realising that our team was followed by a santro as we headed on to the St.Mary's road symmetry..we planned to misguide them.. i sent 1 of my teammates to the clue and 2 of us took right on the road and took them to devanathan road...
not surprisingly they followed us and we made them brake their heads....it in all an entertaining morning spent..
i would like to thank the organisers for having organised such an event.
